1. Do they offer maintenance services?
As we always say, a web design company is going to be a vital part of your business.
It is important that they're committed to creating that long term relationship.
Monthly maintenance services or continued maintenance after the completion of a project are a must!
2. Are they in a rush?
If the company is in a rush to get your account it's probably not in it for your best interests.
You want a company that's interested in building a relationship.
3. Is there pricing competitive?
This item isn't quite as important as the others. Most of the time you'll find companies with
competitive pricing, although if you feel good about a company and you trust them, pay the extra cost.
4. Ask about Time-Frame.
Make sure that the company you're speaking with gives you a solid time-frame.
A solid time frame may look like this. 4-6 weeks. The opposite would like like this.
We'll have it done sometime in the next month or so...
Make sure it's solid.
5. Examples workmanship?
Obviously, you're going to be looking into thier portfolio.
Make sure they're willing to give you live links to their most recent website projects.
A website is much more than just a picture, it's the entire user experience.
6. Can they keep a commitment?
Make sure that you pay close attention to the commitments these companies are making.
If they say they're going to have a quote or estimate for you today.
It needs to be in your inbox by the end of the business day, your time.
I imagine you're able to understand the importance of these item.
